I've been noticing little noises in my cabin while driving. Something seems to be coming from behind the driver seat, maybe that rear corner and something else seems to be around the dash - to the left of the steering wheel perhaps. It could be lots of things but I wanted to know if any of you experienced Taco owners noticed if anything in particular seems to come loose or can cause noise.

The sun visors on mine where both loose and I tightened those. Any suggestions on what you inspect?

    Thanks.

I can always hear this one little plastic gear turning somewhere in the dash. Learned to ignore it and turn the volume up.

I've developed an annoying squeak that happens on bumps. I've been flailing my right arm around between shifts smacking panels back there and haven't seemed to hit the right spot yet.

My mommy always said "hitting things never helps" but I believe I have proven her wrong with all my stupid interior rattles

I've always heard a type of engine noise coming from the corner of the passenger side firewall, sounds like when you coast on a bike and the chain makes that sound. I drive with my windows down most of the time so the only time I hear it really is during the winter.

I've got a nice rattle under the dash, a few inches right of center, near the windshield. I can press down on the top of the dash and it goes away. Annoying as hell. Well, not *that* annoying since it's still there... I just haven't tore it apart to find whatever loose wire or clip is making the noise.

My taco had that same rattle when I had mud terrains on it. I took a piece of dense foam and stuffed it between the windshield and the dash to put pressure on the dash and the sound went away. But now that I run all terrains the rattle went away even with the foam out.

My interior rattles used to bother me...alot...but now they just dont bother me.
