Hey guys, thought I'd drop a wassup to all. Just bought my first Tacoma a few weeks ago and just joined the site. It looks pretty active here. Don't have much time on my hands with a new kid, but I'd love to meet up with some folks sometime to get ideas for my truck. She's all stock, and probably will be for a while, but I've got daydreams in the long run to do some basic mods I hope.

thanks for the welcome.... I've been browsing the site and reading about the mods. I'm not that familiar with Toyota trucks, but I'll try to keep the stupid questions to a minimum.

In time I know I'd like to do a little lift and put some wheels with no bigger than some 33" tires on it. Fog lights and a brushguard of some sort are a must. Those are the big money mods for later on I'm thinking. I'll have to get out to some meets to see what I like, there's a lot of trucks I see around town that make me envious.

Are there any regular spots where folks get together ?

I may try to make it to that. I live in Richmond, but my inlaws and my job are in hampton roads, so I'm between both areas all the time.

Hahaha, yeah, so much for those tires that probably cost the same as a swamper, looks good, but that's about it.

yeah dude, 64 can suck it.... I wake up at 3am so I can get to the office on base by 5 and get the heck out by 1 or so. My home is the highway, literally

needless to say, the Tacoma is not my daily driver, the gas would eat me up too bad. I got a little shoebox scion for my daily, and the wife and kid ride in a 2011 Forester.
