    20% being new mexico legal. 15% is albuquerque legal..i went with the 20% and haven't had any trouble.

    Edit: these numbers and info is what i received from the tint shop.

    5% FTW, i have 5 up front and on the visor strip, and 20% on the backs and it matches nicely!

    well 5% is pretty dark people cant really see in but i can see out just fine :) if you do 20% on the front it will pretty much match factory tint:rolleyes:

    The rear factory tint is darker than that front tint so regardless it will be off unless you get a darker tint in the front to match with the rear. which means I have about 10-15 percent tint in the rear and 20 percent tint on the front.

    No you were saying 20 percent tint is going to be factory... that is no where near factory tint.... The factory tint is almost clear....

    No they are right but what you are saying is if you put 20% film on top of your factory tint then they will be "factory" which is no where near factory tint..... You have to realize that the factory tint can not be removed and can only have another layer added which adds to the amount of tint the windows will have which is why my rear windows are darker than front windows because factory tint is darker in the rear windows than it is in the front.... and when I tinted them with 20 percent film on top of the factory tint the difference showed up even more.

    bro i was saying that if you put 5% on the front and 20% on the rear it will match up or if you put 20% on the fronts it will match the rear factory tint :rolleyes:

    No... you would need slightly clearer tint in the rear or slightly darker in the front not 5 percent... that's just like an apocolypse inside your truck. :laughing: .... You can do 20 in the front and 30 in the rear or 10-15 front and 20 rear and that will be the same amount... 5 percent is limo tint....
