I didn't use any rubs. I prefer the natural bacon and sausage flavors. I also mixed in half a package of Potatoes O'Brien; potato cubes, green peppers and onions.

    Prep:

Thats a full sized cookie sheet under there!

The two pounds of sausage is spread evenly on top of the bacon. Then the potatoes are spread evenly on the sausage.

Size reference: this thing is huge!!! Thats my crackberry curve next to it.

    My hand

    My fist

    Half way done!!!

    Finished!!!

Well? How was it? Still cook it for 2 hrs, even though it was the oven?

I was pretty good. Yes, I cooked it at 425 for two hours. The inner layer of bacon was a little pink but still cooked, kinda on the chewy side. It would really go good with some sunside eggs over top. Excellent recipe!!!

Stop and get some lipitor on the way. My arteries began hardening the moment I opened the bacon.

awesome pics!! Thanks for sharing.. you are the man!

Thats a huge pool of grease it sits in while it cooks... Wonder if it would be better if it was cooked on a rack, and not swimming in that grease.

I think I am going to make this today...or this weekend....going to let the boyfriend eat it and only have a small slice myself :hungry:. I think I'll do the original this time and do the taters version next.
