Good morning, I haven't been here in a while but I have a question. My girlfriend accidently dropped her cigarette on my truck seat and now I have a small burn in the seat cushion. Short of buying a seat cover, is there anything I can do to hide this burn mark? 2009 Tac, Off-road
    Thx
    Kev

If it's a burn mark, covers are probably your best bet. You can get an upholstery cleaner that may take some of the black spot out, but you'll always see it. Get a new gf who can properly respect the Tacoma :D

Sport seats come in the TRD models.

This ^^^^ that shit is disgusting. Especially chicks who smoke. Any chick who smokes drops immediately to a 0 in my book on the hotness scale. :puke:

As for the burn, your only bet is to cover it up with a seat cover.

Here's the link for the group buy I participated in for Wet Okoles. It has a chart attached that will help you determine what type of seats you have. I strongly suggest you give Wet Okoles a look...very happy with mine.

Thanks so much, by reviewing MQQSE's excellent chart, my window sticker and a direct inspection I have the non sport buckets, with side airbags and passenger foldflat.

I knew you guys could help me out...

We have the Wet Okoles in the Jeep, this truck needs a different degree of protection since we have to show up clean for our day jobs. However, the Wet Okoles selection is still on the table.

The buckets only come in the Sport & TRD Offroad models.

Not true, my SR5 has buckets, just not the same ones as the TRD Models... The TRD models have a different cloth and I guess a slightly different fit.

Not much you can do for a cig burn. Covers are your best bet. Pricy thing for a cig burn. I wouldn't allow her to smoke in your truck from now on.

gotcha, I thought maybe the dealer sold you that the TRD models are the only ones that come with buckets... wouldn't be the first time they'd told a lie to sell a pricier vehicle.
