How to remove dash?

LEDs I ordered should hopefully be here tomorrow.

How do I go about removing the dash so i can install the LEDs on all my instruments?

 

There's lot's o' hidden screws you need to remove. It's been a while since I did it on my 97 5-lug. I think there are a couple screws on the bottom edge of the top of the cluster "shade" (the piece that shade the speedo form the sun) that should get you started. You shouldn't have to remove the entire dash, though.

This is a good link which shows you step by step. I put LEDs in my truck last year. It took about one hour start too finish. It isn't too difficult just keep track of all the screw you take out.

I think if all you're doing is removing the dash console (speedo cluster) all you need to do is steps 10 and up.

 

What color LEDS did you go with?

I went with white and I like mine a lot...

 

Same colors as yours.
