Ehh, mostly trail riding. Wheels and tires are outta my price range. I got $350 left to spend, could probably earn another hundred and do UCA's, get the winch, or do sliders... Hmmm. I'm more planning on trail running, with maybe a little crawling, but I don't wanna hardcore crawl til I have all the gear - skids, sliders, tires, regear(?) etc.

Gonna do wheels an tires next summer, God willin and the creek don't rise. All depends on the price of scrap metal and whether I can find any.

Get sliders then. They are the best protection for now with the smaller wheels. Plus Tim sells them :) you could get the hybrid ones with kick outs for around 350 or so..

That is a sexy picture!!

i dont really see mine tho..oh well :p haha

*Sigh* yeah but I wanna do bolt ons so I can remove them to get the the lower part of my body panels and touch up paint, etc. That and I have a very limited ability with welding and don't wanna pay to have someone else do it. Hard to find good work, specially in this area. My price limit is probably around $400-$450, so I may need a good deal from Tim! Haha

Idk if you can get bolt ones for 1st gens. Something about the space needed isn't there i think. 4xinovations makes them really cheap too. But i don't like their styling as much and the kickout they do looks weak.

Really?! Didn't want to hear that. I'd be happy to discuss these more, but I feel bad hijacking Tim's thread and talking about his competition so I'm gonna quit.

I'm in the Central Valley. You're East Bay? Don't go there very often. Was intrigued by your mod day but I observe Saturday religiously and I'm underage so the mention of "someone bring the beer" kinda nixed my interest (Not judging you man). Haha, I think I was outta town that weekend anyways. And I'm still not sure I want them welded. Trying to keep it so that it could be returned to stock as much as possible if I wanted to. (i.e. I'm keeping all my stock parts, which kinda hurts the wallet, but I think it'll be worth it in the long run)
