    ^^^ Very nice!

Jake can you post some pics taken with the 70-200mm possibly wide open at 70mm and wide open at 200mm. I have a tokina 80-200mm f/2.8 sharpness is very good wide open until reaching 200mm there it gets too soft but bumping it to f/3.2 it gets good enough for me. I'm pretty happy with it, but the thing is loud loud loud!!!! metal body does not help to dampen the sound either!!, the Sigma with the HSM will be much quieter, which I prefer when I shoot in some places.

    Thanks guys.

Some of those I have bumped up the saturation, Mainly the ones of the narrows at zion (water in the canyon shot), I want to find the originals and re-edit them to not be so over saturated. Some of the ones of like monument valley, thats just the way it is there! They had the saturation bumped up a bit, but not very much. The place is so amazing even some of the clouds have a pink tint to them because the desert floor is so red. Anything I have taken recently I have hardly edited the colors at all.

You have some great photos there! What kind of lens do you use when photographing wildlife? Particularly when shooting birds in flight?

EDIT: I also noticed you have been to Ecuador... Me too. Beautiful place eh'?

    Not enough.
Now I have to make that thing. Looks like a fun way to kill time too!

Nice pics Jake, I like the first one because of the color. Not a big fan of solid b&w..I feel it needs a tone.

I'm doing a wedding in Nov... the venue is dark as a dungeon of course. Luckily it's 2 levels so I'm able to use 3 AB800's upstairs (third is camera left and above so it's out of the frame):

Are you going to use a softbox or something for your subjects too?

You mean for the portraits? Maybe a softbox or beauty dish (if I can find a cheap one). The pic above is the set up for the reception - bare bulb and reflectors. Nuke 'em!

I was thinking for the reception. It looks like there are a lot of crazy pieces of furniture/stair rails that a tiny fill would help oodles. I guess if you nuke 'em from enough sides, it should work too

Got a question guys, a friend of mine asked me to do some couple pictures for him. He asked what the price would be and I told him the easiest thing for me would to put them all on a CD and let them choose the ones they like. So lets say I take 200 photos of them, what would you price that at? Fairly reasonable.

The softbox up above would be the opposite result I'm going for in this situation. I'm trying to throw light so that's the reason for the bare bulbs.

My wife is gonna hate me - another trip to Ikea for random lighting!!! That should help for single person (maybe 2 people) portraits. Thanks for the link!
