I know it sucks...I would go but would just feel bad leaving her home for the weekend. She's not even supposed to be driving right now. Will see how she is once the weekend comes.

I think that would be pretty sweet

nope but i heard all you need is to get actual led light bulbs...been thinking about doing it myself but just a pain to take out the dash....but yeah we dont need to do n e soldering or n e thing like that to ours like the 2nd gen's

ive done it, pretty easy to do, but you have to pretty much disect the whole dash to get to the lights, its actually easy to do.... ill try to find the write up i used for it

Hey guys new 559'er checkin in! Pretty nice to see such a large 559 community. I just purchased a "new" 2008 Tacoma DC TRD/OR.

Still getting used to owning my first truck. I have owned nothing but sports cars all my life(just sold my boosted 350z). So i'm still getting used to things, such as speed, height, handling etc...

BUT i'm loving it so far, by far the best purchase i've made! BTW I wanted to install my lift kit but i've heard from my friends who are 4x4 veterans that 4 wheel parts is a rip-off. But I have no clue who else to turn to:(

again look forward to meeting some of you, I think i've probably seen most of your trucks in town.

four wheel parts charges you alot for install and even parts, go online to buy parts, my dad wanted to get a lift on his truck, he can get the parts online for about 120 (spacer) and we are putting it on, four wheel parts wanted 200 for the same spacer plus another 300 for install, id say rip off

Welcome to the thread bud. Hopefully we can assist you with questions that you have and as it was said before

    STAY AWAY FROM 4wheel parts

I've nothing but bad news when dealing with them.

Got bored and had what I call "ingenuity epiphany" with the help of my Grandpa.

SO, I have a BruteForce rear plate bumper, (THANKS BILLY), with a built in hitch behind the license plate. I've been meaning to purchase a flip bracket for it but couldnt find one and if I did it was around $30.

Today I seen my grandpa dismantling an old lawnmower and noticed the bracket in the back where the collection bag connected. Made the connection and now I have a bracket lol.

    Cleaned and trimmed to fit
    [IMG]

Didn't like the bends in it so I had to use a rubber mallet to make it as flat as I could

So I saved some money and kept myself busy!
