    Nart Carolininans:

I will be coming to your wonderful state in early October (6-12) with my girlfriend for a wedding. The wedding is in Seagrove, but we will be flying in and out of Charlotte. Friday we will be driving to Seagrove, and Saturday is the wedding.

From there, we have 4 days to kick around the Tar Heel State. I think the GF wants to drive down to Myrtle Beach for a day or two, but other than that I am open to suggestions.

Unfortunately, the Tacoma will not be coming with me, otherwise I would see if anyone wanted to hit some trails. Although if anyone knows places to offroad a rented Ford Focus, I'm listening...

So, let me know what I need to check out. I don't mind driving a bit -- I have to drive 2-3 hours to get ANYWHERE in Washington, so it's cool.

Also if anyone can recommend places to stay in the $60-120/night range in Charlotte, Seagrove and Myrtle Beach, it would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
