    I suggest ear protection as well. I think being under the trucks with impact wrenches going off killed quite a bit of the hearing in my left ear. I'd go to the doctor and check it out but alas, no job = no insurance. :(

    With an impact wrench under the bed the sound waves only have so many places to go and with the tool user blocking the wheel well, well, you get where I'm going.

    It's probably the reason why I couldn't hear when the LEO said, "Come here," when Eric and I were at Autozone. (Pulled over after I pulled over for having white turn signal bulbs.) The hearing loss is very noticeable to me and that's the reason why I mentioned it.

    Not trying to start a pissing contest, just emphasizing the importance of safety. :eek:
