haha true that, its going to have to stop at some point tho, i want to build something more than a cool prerunner.

so with all this 4-link talk i have been seeing lately are to reconsidering the DMZ deavers at all? I know that a 4linked tacoma with the 4.0 and a SC could do some damage in Class 6. Give Heidi a run for her money ;)

HREW is seam welded tubing which is where the weak point is created. The standing tensile strength may be stronger in lab tests but there is a reason that no reputable racing organisation will allow mild steel builds.

I've dont the research, even posted in that thread a few times and thats why I dont fuck around with either, entirely 4130 here bud and were going to use it on the cage too. No, its not a race truck but its built to specs and will be tagged. I would rather know I'm going walk away intact than leave it to chance

agreed.. but that is to people who have and use their brain cells while driving. those types of people seem fewer and fewer every trip out.

I won't be doing links for cost reasons. It would require reworking my bed cage to run coilovers in addition to all the other fabrication that goes along with links and my pockets just aren't that deep. For how often I race, leaf springs will more than suffice. :)

I'm going to practice on the one-piece first. lol If it goes well I'll do the whole truck. If I fail at painting I'll ask a buddy that paints for help. I want it painted before December max.

I don't think those are it. I went out side to look at the truck and you would have to cut off the coil buckets off to run those. i think I'm going to call RR, Trail gear and DMZ see if I can get some pictures and pricing
