TG has their "bomb proof" motor mounts, but they are just the mounts themselves.
    http://www.trail-gear.com/bomb-proof-motor-mount-kit
The part that mounts to the frame is still the same. From what I've read, people doing the TG mounts are vibrating their fillings out of their teeth and have ended up breaking the transmission mount within a matter of weeks. No point in replacing the motor mounts if you don't have a transmission mount to go with it.

Also there is a guy on TTORA who makes upgraded frame mounts (username is viter). You can PM him for details. Requires removing the engine to cut the old ones off and weld the new ones on.

DMZ is still in prototype phase. I'm on Tim's "mailing list" if they do actually come out with one. Can't speak to RR though, not sure if they are working on some or not.

Thanks for the link man! I'll look into these a little more. How was pulling the motor out of your truck? time / labor wise?

I think making a set and then using a tube with poly bushings with be a better route. THen you don't have the stock rubber to worry about but the poly will help keep the vibes down. Thats what a lot of the hot rod guys do when they build mounts

Well I pretty much pulled it by myself in a weekend just from reading the FSM. Lots of beer breaks though. If you had a friend you could easily do it in a day. Installation was faster than removal.

For the most part I followed the FSM which says to drop the transmission/transfer case first. If I had to do it again, I think i might try to only lowered the ass of the transmission/xfer case and tried to wiggle the engine forward. You risk effing up the clutch that way though which is why I just dropped the transmission first.

Well, I only like doing things once. I researched the piss out of the motor mount crap when I had my engine out. In the end I couldn't find anyone doing a transmission mount so I said screw it and kept it factory.

hate to burst your bubble , but forced induction is not allowed in class 6/7200. with the stock motor numbers and lt travel numbers ,being competitive in class 6 will be hard.
17-18" in front and 22-24" in back and youll be on your way . also dan vances truck isnt a stock 4.0 ,he runs the motec engine management system and gobs of dyno time. with his motor setup and the above mentioned travel numbers you could be competive if yor truck stays together and drive smart. but its still gonna be hard to run against bozzano, caspino, and heidi.
give it another year or two and youll have to have tt money to be competitive in class 6/7200. a top off road engine builders motor, trans and engine management system will set you back a tad bit over 60k with 15K$ just to prep the motor and trans every 1500-2500 miles

i say grab a mason chassis and finish it up . then slowly keep throwing money at your motor program. you should shoot for a v6 that puts down a min of 4oo hp and 370 ftlbs, reliably. keep the yoter as a prerunner, it will last longer that way.

seeing as you codrive and chase for the TSA 7200 truck and probably (definitely) know what you are talking about I went back and reread the BITD rule book and I stand corrected. Although it appears on pg 74 SCR24 that forced induction is allowed in class 7200 I went back and read SCR33 on Pg 20 and noticed that the rule is only aplicable to diesel powered motors thus i retract my statement

Class 6 is already a mini TT class. I was talking to a couple of Class 6 guys at the 2010 Primm and they commented that they're at a huge disadvantage because "we run a frame." On their truck the frame rails were only under the cab but it still limited their options.

Full custom tube chassis is the reality of that class these days.
