Definitely like the looks of the truck with them off, but not worth the paint damage, imo. Kept mine on. And the 4x4 logo is sweet! Not to mention too much partying goes on to risk getting pulled over for no flaps ;)

I took them off till winter time. I think they would help with the snow/slush/gravel on the road

I like the utility of them on, but the looks with them off. I was torn for a while, so I decided to trim them to get the best of both worlds. I took about 4" off. I can't believe they're made so long from the factory.

Eventually I just decided to take mine off.

Mine have been sitting in the garage for months now. I need to post up a FS thread since I've decided to leave them off for good.

I'm going to drive mine stock for a couple years, then bigger tires etc., may take them off then - but for now, stock.

Of course, the stock radio had to go day=1, replace it with a Pioneer 3300 and some Kenwood speakers.:D

Can't wait to redo the grill, when I change out the tires for big ones, with a 2" lift.

I'm leaving mine on. I don't like how they look but I travel gravel roads fairly often and want to protect my paint from flying rocks.

I took my fronts off since they were rubbing after the new wheels were installed but left the rears on so i dont take out any windshieds behind me from throwing rocks.

x2 for why i left the rears on. i figure, they serve a purpose by not sending scratch causing rocks up at my doors. so untill forced off, on they stay!

Keeping mine on until they need to be cut short/removed due to lift or wheeling. They protect the underside from being pelted with rocks/dirt/mud

Are the prerunner rear flaps significantly shorter than the 4x4 flaps?
