I was hoping to start this semester but I couldn't get up there in time, so I'll be starting the Spring 2012 semester at the PCC Cascade campus.

The HU I currently have is an alpine IDA-X100. I bought it for the excellent iPod control, but neglected to check he rest- there's no low pass filter and the preouts are 2V. These get corrected only when you pay an extra $100 for the extra device that plugs into it, which then makes it a horribly complex device. Most of these features are found standard on other manufacturer's units. The current offerings from Alpine follow a similar fashion, plus they seem behind the times in offerings. I had a pioneer previously, and it felt like the designers were just that much better (or more generous?) than alpine. Only reason it didn't get moved to the taco was that it didn't have any index/percentage/etc search on the iPod, so dialing around for a song sucked

I'm just going part time to go and get my general studies done and probably transferring to PSU for criminal justice..or I might just stay at pcc.

The thought of how long it'll take to get them out of the way part time sucks!!

thanks :) and since you havent set it up....depending on when your school starts you may have to pay out of pocket(you'd get reimbursed) until your GI bill is approved.. the first step is register with the VA... either here http://www.gibill.va.gov/apply-for-benefits/ or there are actual forms to fill out with your vet rep. either way, get on it because it can take a while!!!:)

also....if you want to go to school full time, you can qualify for unemployment, and there is a certain program that you wouldnt have to actually be looking for a job....they just pay you since your going to school...just a thought. unless you have a sweet job lined up!!

That's fine. But anyone that calls a modern vehicle an "investment" in the sense that you'll ever see any of the money you put into it ever again, is sadly mistaken.

How do you keep from going crazy if you don't browse TW while driving a tractor non-stop all day?

Well I'm head supervisor for our baling crew, so when things break I fix it. Plus driving a big baler is by far the most hardest job we got. Its hard to explain but combining, dirt work, spraying, etc..are all by far easy jobs. Doing what I do my brain needs to be on point the while time or things can get screwed up quick.

But to answer your question... I go through a can of chew a day. Lol
