    First off, no need to be disrespectful, keep that shit to yourself. If you can't debate on the internet, then don't...

    What I was getting at is you can't use it as a guideline. You're better off using the door jamb as a guide rather than the max pressure on the tire. If you use your logic and you're running D range tires, they have a max pressure of around 80 psi IIRC, that would mean you'd be running 75 psi in your tires. Realistically, you need about 1/2 that.

    You have good points-I apologize for gettin on ya like I did. I was always under the impression that you needed a minimum of air to consruct the tire (like 10lbs off)

    no the max PSI rating in a tire has nothing to do on what the psi should be at.
