I was thinking rub dielectric grease on the bottom half and then put silicone on the top half and put it together and let it harden. The grease will keep the silicone from gluing it together, but should give a nice tight gasket around it

Whats exactly happening to it? I was under the impression that this thing should be relatively weather-resistant since its marketed as being a "marine" product.

The contacts are all chromed, and it's flaking off. I doubt this matters very much, but I hate to see it corroding. I'm more concerned with water getting on it and possibly shorting something out. (I still need to get a circuit breaker for it). I've also been playing around with other ideas that are more protected, like the spod

    Hey Guy's,

I am thinking of selling the Toy. i need something that I can tow a little bit better. A Cummins maybe.
My question is - any idea what should I ask for ???
09 dc or It has- 48000 miles, supercharger, emu lift, kenwood dnx 9140 and another $5000 in small gadgets.
I did look in all blue, black books but they don't give you, always a fair idea.
    Thank's for any feed back.

Tough call. Mods always make it more valuable to the owner than to a perspective buyer. Either way, I'd say somethin around mid 20s.

Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.

    i would say upper 20's as well....OR

you could part it out and put it back to stock...then trade it in on a cummins. You'll get some of that cash back then for the mods. and for suggesting this i would like the OME lift....for freeee since im a genious:D
