Yeah, but you have to consider that that shop gives all of us TW guys great deals. If they are doing what I know is 2hrs of work on my truck I know it will be there for 8hrs lol. They will move customers paying the standard prices ahead of you, and it doesn't bother me to much because I understand whats going on. And the reason that I really go there is that I trust the owner, I feel he is a great guy and his team has always done amazing work....slow yes, but the end product is quality.

Good to know, haven't been to happy with my experiences at the Truck Shop

 

If you go there with the expectation that they are going to shower you with customer service you will be disappointed. I go solely because I know the price they are giving me is very competitive an I can trust their work. They don't have to be nice to me as long as I trust them

 

They're very nice to me, and give me great deals since every other week something else breaks on my truck and James feels bad for me.


This week's problem: Broken speedometer.

I still have the Tacoma, well my mom does.



It's worth it though, I like the 4Runner more for my needs.

 

That's kinda how I saw it, Mario. I felt they were just pushing the date back as they felt they could. I mean it woulda been cool if they called me and said- "Icon are a buncha losers (they are cuz they don't answer phones, return calls or emails.) and it will take a few weeks to get all the things rounded up." But being told "tomorrow and tomorrow" is not what I wanted.

And your shit looks bad ass I've seen James's work and I have no doubt it kicks ass.

And yours is a fucking beast as well. You guys should be proud of the Truck Shop's work. Just like I said earlier- everyone has different tastes and I left with a sour one while it looks like you guys had some sweet cake while you were there I'm damn happy for both of you!

And this relieves me, Gabe-y!- I thought I was the only one! Good to know- just for personal comfort

Lol it's funny cuz when I went in there for the first time- I immediately got this feeling of great customer service when they dropped all work to get my UCAs done in 30 minutes. In fact- they were VERY nice people which is why I'm not hating on them- I was just disappointed with the laying off of my shocks and didn't want them delayed again. James is very respectful and is a very nice guy as well as his other workers- they have a friendly attitude. Even when I went to pick up my shocks, they were still as friendly as could be.

 

o and by the way- the exhaust is on as well as the coilover Donahoos. We romped that shit on a trail last night and jumped that bitch a few times.

I'm sure they are a great place to get stuff done, i just hadn't had good experience with 3 alignments (two different vehicles) and a BMC.

Have you looked into Firestone and their lifetime alignment? I used to get my alignment done with James, but getting it done every 2 months gets expensive. I bought the Lifetime for $159 and go once a month to get straightened up.
