I recently ordered a box with that sub located in the middle from Marv (one amp on each side). Regardless of the price, you will not find a guy more passionate about what he does than this guy and customer service is fantastic. I have no doubt I am going to get the best enclosure available anywhere for my Taco.

not even close to enough air space behind the seat for three to sound even half good. but as far as width yeah 3 would fit it would just sound worse than 2.

running "just" one in my DC. more than adequate. two would drown out your front stage.

Maybe not if you were running an active 3 way Legatia SE setup with 8's in the doors and about 800 watts of real power! :D

Just a nice two way with Bit one and an Audison5.1K. Still no "need" for two 13's. at that point it is "sonically" only good for impressing teenagers;)

I have 2 13tw5s in a Mr. Marv enclosure and love it. They hit harder and deeper even at low volumes than the two shallow mount Pioneer 12" subs they replaced. I don't think you can ever compete with the kids running two full-size (not shallow mount) 12s or 15s that rattle their car and the one next to it.

I'm wanting to upgrade my stereo system and I don't know a whole lot about stereos. I was thinking about maybe getting one of the JL 13tw5's. I wanted to put it behind the back seats of my 06 double cab. Do you think this would work good? All I'm wanting is a nice sounding and nice quality system and was thinking about getting the JL 13 tw5 for a sub. Do you think just one would sound good...almost as good as two 12 in. subs would? Another thing is I'm wanting to keep the back seats in and be able to use them. Could I still do that with this sub? If any body knows can you tell me about how much this is going to cost to get one JL tw5, a nice amp, a nice sub box that fits behind the back seat, and what ever else I would need?
