any aftermarket bumper is pretty much bad ass. Even better if you can get the insurance company to pay for it

    I have a 4x4 and I don't mind, but it's all gay.

JK - Do what the hell you want.

They really help in the parking lots if you back in all the time. People want to hit your bumper? Fucking go for it, my shit buffs out with tremclad bitch.

I think a PreRunner with a plate bumper is still lighter than a 4x4. :) Go for it.

I'm glad I ordered it. Was just looking at all the pics of bumpers when I was picking mine out and those front axles were sticking out like a sore thumb. Dunno know why it matters, I don't really need or want 4x4, not sure why I've got 4x4 envy all the sudden

Whatever floats your boat... some people with Prerunners wheel their trucks harder than my 4x4, if you need one for protection, go for it!

Yup, go for it. It will look as good as and protect as good as a 4x4. I plan on getting a rear plate bumper at some point.

    :rofl:This!

I need/want to get a front and rear. My rear got all dented up in parking lot. I just love coming out from a store to see your bumper all banged to shit, with no note from the offender.

IMO it looks much better than stock, if you plan on wheeling it you won't take a chance on leaving the stocker in the dirt, and you have to option to put a winch on it if you choose. Good call OP! POST PICS!
