    Have you ever been wheeling out there? It just looks like a nice place to explore and take advantage of the scenery.

    like Cory said, it's off limits to motor vehicles unfortunately. Those tracks you see in the second to bottom pic were left from a big rig hauling a Cat dozer used for making fire lines when we had all the fires a couple of years back.

    well, i'm pretty sure i scored a tundra rear axle, but it doesnt have a 3rd member. tacoma 3rd's will swap right in to the tundy but my e locker 3rd will not. thats why i want to trade somebody

    i'm gonna re-gear it to 4:56

    Yes but Matt's has abs.... But u guys could trade 3rds, I think. Then u would just need to wire a switch to it. Assuming the e locker 3rd w/motor mounts up to non elocker axle. :notsure:

    exactly... not going to be super duper easy... but not ridiculous either

    i can get a fully built 4:56 3rd from east coast gear supply... but i have to send them a core

    and the built 3rd is $700

    Calminitrucks.com sell 3rds Tacoma and tundie and will gear withnwut ever ratio u want for around same price, in stock and with driving distance. Don't remember if core is required or not.
