I had something similar to this happen to me on a Toyota Supra. Somebody from Nevada had one for sale. Similar story it belonged to someone else and they were trying to get rid of it. Then wanted a down payment to ship it to me. It was wack.

Wow what a terrific deal. Just $1500? I think i would be a fool not too. I figured i would have spent at least that to move it from Honolulu. How can i settle this debt? I just talked to my brother and he is all ready to go just waiting for the address. He is very excited as well because he used to have one just like this when he lived up in Washington. He said he has $2000 in his pocket ready to go. What is the address? Once again I can not thank you enough for this.

i would stay soooooooo far away from this! scam scam scam!! think about it, they are 60 years old. if their son suddenly died, they would just give the pick to someone in the community if they wanted to get rid of it. not set up an elaborate and crazy move here, ship there thing over the internet. you see this stuff on craigslist all the time. wanting you to make a deposit to their ebay paypal account and all that. . . . SCAM!

 

LOL I was going to buy a bike off ebay for 1000, the guy claimed he was moving to canada and didn't want to pay the import tax so was selling it quick, bike was in texas, then oops his father in law rode it to Illinois to visit family.. I told him this sounds sketchy and he got all pissed off and stopped communicating, the next day the listing was down.

 

Damn this is good shit, Is there not a way to get these ppl into trouble for internet scamming? I would contact someone atleast, they may not fool you but helping out the next person is the least you could try to do. Not everone has common sense and drives a Tacoma.

yeah i feel you on that but who would i call? i originally found it in my little local town paper and idk i guess instead of putting so much energy into this i couldve done that but this is much more entertaining


on a side note i still havent heard anything from them and im getting hungry so i think im about to go get some lunch

hey chuck, your money, your call. just throwing my 2 cents out there. you gained interest in a "free" motorcycle that now is looking upwards of $2k to pick it up, pay for it, gas, time etc. just a little too sketchy for this guy.
