I was actually impressed with the "Special Forces Diver" episode. Anyone else watch this show? If you could pick one to do, think you can make the cut?:D

I watch em, I really liked the army sniper one, showed how to put leaves etc in ghillie suit to make it look like natural terrain

I like the show. It's amazing what these go through. As for me at this stage in my life, I couldn't hack it unless I was attached to someone else like a fetal twin.

    neglect, mostly.
the guy at 2:30 is a good friend of mine. this was the first episode from last year that he was on. whatever they said his name is isn't his real name. he told me they had 2 SAS guys with two cameras following them through it all. said they didn't take notes or anything like that lol. but i promise without a doubt i know the guy. . . . oh and he passed it btw. getting married next week too as a matter of fact.

yeah man. both schools and a whole lot more... almost made it through the whole PJ pipline until a shoulder injury eliminated me from training and led to my med discharge. shitty.

they "toned down" the indoc episode so much... dive too, but not as much. indoc was fucking crazy... the show made it look hard but "do-able"... which it obviously is do-able... but i'm sure so many people were sitting on their couch watching and thinking to themselevs... "thats not that bad"... gotta love the couch SF operators.

our indoc class started with 100+ dudes... we graduated 12. lol

I have asthma so just watching these guys makes it hard for me to breathe. I would like to think I could do some of that stuff (maybe 20 yrs ago and no asthma) but even then it would be a stretch. It makes me wonder how much of it is just the guys being mentally ready and strong. They push themselves to unbelievable limits and that is the coolest part for me. Plus my 12 year old daughter loves to watch it with me so that's even better.

Wow...for the indoc we started with around 40...if I remember correctly I think 28 past. But then again Marines do a little more water time which is why, I think, more past the indoc. I got a lot of respect for PJs. Im glad Discovery gave them the credit they deserve!

One of the guys in the Marine Sniper episode was one of my team leaders in Iraq in 2004. He was a damn good TL too, always had good ideas, until he tried to trim his eyebrows with a Mach 3 razor and shave one of them off in Fallujah. Good to see him doing well. He was one of those guys you could see go lifer very easily.

Trying to talk the wife into letting me go to SFAS right now. I had ranger school awarded to me during AIT down in San Antonio and then taken away because they had overbooked airborne school for AIT students. Lame.

I loved watching that show before I shipped for BCT though... Made me think, "damn, our military is super organized!"... hahahahah!!! USSOCOM is probably super organized but the regular army? LOL! Awesome show though.
