To all of the the families and victims in the path of of Irene I wish you a safe week ahead. And to all of the folks who's houses, cars, tacoma's, etc. that have been damaged or wiped out I speaking through all of Tacomaworld say I'm sorry and hope a quick recovery is on the way. Also around the noon time today a tree had fallen on a apartment home in VA killing a 2 year old boy. Rip and were all praying :(. Hopefully everyone makes it through with all there property as well. Please feel free to post any prayer or anything about the situation. Told to all the members in harms way, stay safe.

+1, though it may not be the strongest or most dangerous hurricane, any loss of life is a shame.

:(They don't have the infrastructure built for hurricanes. Many on the east coast have never experienced a hurricane.

Hopefully those that were told to evacuate, evacuated.

Though I obviously hope there are no more major injuries or deaths, I honestly have no sympathy at all for those who live in mandatory evacuation areas, who chose to stay instead. All they are doing is putting the people to have to go save them, police and paramedics, in harms way.

I agree, you think people would learn from Katrina. It is a shame nonetheless. Especially children who have no say in the matter of leaving or not.

That is an excellent point. If people's children are injured, they should be held criminally responsible IMO.

I don't want to get too political here but death penalty. Ironic as it may be, it would work.

Thanks guys.We are just sitting here and waiting for it to hit.it's not even raining yet.i hope the media just blew it out of proportion like they always do.i have work Sunday morning at 6am. I work for the state/railroad and they don't care about our safety. They are maiking us come in.Us and pse&g always work in these conditions.i can deal with rain and flooding.stores already have windows covered with ply wood..they never ever do that.i don't feel like dealing with 100mph winds and shit flying all over the place as im forced to go to work
