I am looking into getting LT285/70R17 cooper discoverers stt! On kmc xd series crank wheels 17x9. I own a 2010 tacoma 4cyl reg cab bone stock. Anyone think ill have any problems such as clearence, rubbing, drive strain...etc...

When you say you have a base model, do you mean a 5lug or 6lug?

What is the backspacing or offset of the wheels?

You will definitely need to do some trimming to get them to fit without rubbing

do you think a leveling kit will help or because they are so wide?

Oh wait you don't have a lift?

I was saying you would have to cut a bunch WITH a lift.

Without a lift you don't have a prayer of fitting those.

265/70/17 is the biggest you can go, and the 9" wide rims might be too wide for those. You have to check the tire manufactures website.

so a 3 inch lift is the only hope of getting those to fit on?

Yes, the tires and wheels you have picked will fit together, but not the 265s on the 9in wide wheels

They will fit together perfectly, just not on your truck.
Thank you. I have 1.75" of lift.

Bilstein 5100s or OME shocks and springs if you are on a budget.

    If not, icon coilovers.
