    does anyone know how these things are attached to the headliner? passenger side on new truck. thanks for any advice

    black tube steps, side marker turn signals, 15% tint and window strip, EGR vent shades, fighter pilot/cockpit mod, console and glove box auto on LED, anytime fog light mod, 3000k HID fogs, bed mat wing nut mod, locking bed storage bin mod, smoked tail lights, plasti-dipped rims, blacked out emblems, black tail pipe, tail gate hose clamp, rear seat utility/dog shelf with rear center console access door.
    I can't find anything about how to remove it but I think you maybe could pull your headliner down to see if the screws need tightening. If that isn't how they are mounted, at least I gave you a free bump for someone else to help...

    Factory Monster Truck Package with reverse gear.
    theres a crossbar under the headliner attatched to the roof and it screws into the crossbar...kinda hard to tell without headliner out

    mine's loose also and it has never really been used. only had the truck about 6 weeks.

    mines only a week old ! i just dont wanna twist on the thing and break it off so id really like to know for sure how its attached. anyone have a service manual for this thing?

    You have a new truck- have the dealer fix it for you. Unless you really want to remove it? The shade will get used by passengers, or if you want to use a sun shade - people talk about mods, but this is the best thing you can do for your vehicles. Keep a shade in all the time, this protects the interior more then anything else. :cool:

    ok the way to remove this plastic part is to twist it counterclockwise 1/4 turn and it comes right out. i think i just need a new one. this one looks like it wasnt installed by pushing it up high enough and it sheared some plastic off the base. warranty item for when i get something more important like the rear spring tsb at my first service visit. thanks for the replys guys
