hey guys just wanted to introduce myself to this BS thread, im coby and im in the coast guard. ill be transfering up to Elizabeth City, NC in a month to start my tech skool. so hopefully ill get a weekend or two to meet up with any of you guys if there is ever a meet and greet in the future. just thought i would be a good idea to talk to you guys too considering how close to VA E City is.

was about 5:30pm today at a marina about 5 min from my house

 

Now the wind has changed direction....if the trees fall, they will land on my and my neighbor's homes.... :/

 

I called the Only place I could find that was open, some Chinese place off of coliseum at about 9 tonight. They were charging $20 to deliver 1/4 mile down the road.... Some people so I went to pick up, the plan is to go take a look at the damage to the house as soon as curfews over

 

We'll be coming in rt. 58 should be ok. Only a few really low lying areas on that route.

good luck with the high water boys. we still have power and internet in Cville but the phones are out on here on the farm. My brother's wife is in labor in Annapolis so we are hoping the tide goes out and takes the flood with it.

We'll be taking 40 until it hits 460, then that's a straight shot down to Windsor. Hopefully it will be smooth sailing.

Well, power has been out in Moyock for about 8 hours now. Finally hooked up the generator to the fridge. All the houses around me seem to have survived pretty much unscathed. I shoulda grabbed one of the trailered generators from work to power my whole house...
