Anybody need the billet aluminum 5100 shock plates. The ones that sit on the snap ring. The cheaper ones are black and after changing my setup I don't need them anymore

I know what you have now and that you have right at 3"

I was stating when you just had the 885's and the 5100's you said they will for sure get 3" and you were disappointed in the 885's when you didn't get that. And as I said you only had a problem with the 885's because of the perceived lift you assumed you would get.

Doc.SS stay strong the OME setup is an awesome setup!

Im not pushing anybody just saying how I like that adjustable setup for me

I was upset because I was told by the other other place that I would get over 2.5 so I kept and I ended up with only 2". Like I said to each is own. U want tje omes get em. Not talking bad about them.

Doc is like me. I went from a spacer for 2weeks to 885s and 5100s to now that adjustable setup for 5100s.

Can anyone advise me on a clutch issue? When the truck is cold the pedal is mushy and hard to get into gear. When it all warms up it feels better but is still harder than it should be to get onto gear. Today in 60 degree temps I couldn't get into 1st gear at all until it warmed up.
Am I looking at a slave cylinder (the one mounted on the trans) going out or something else? If a slave where's the cheapest place to buy OEM? and is it a matter of installing it and bleeding it like brakes?

Could be a slave going out Mike, & what kind of shape is your fluid in? Clear or is it maybe clear w/ debris (kinda like flash material you get in auto trans.) any leakage noticed ? thinking its a hydraulic issue because you mention it "warms up" & issue gets better, any more info can help.

Very nice buggy BTW, you ever go to buggy works off of Woodside? Dave & Tom Forbis are long time friends of mine...

Yeah it can get pricy, I remember going thru Beaverton about 35 years ago .

Your scenery is much nicer than here though, love mountains, pines & water, we have it here too but much smaller scale.

I will say that in San Diego county you can start your day at the beach, hit the mountains (& snow in winter) & finish up in the desert all in 1 day, not many other places anywhere can you do that...;)

No leakage and I will look at the fluid tomorrow. It's always been hard to get into gear since I bought it, harder than I think it should be today. Slave a straight forward swap?

Never been to BW but know of them.

As I recall its pretty straight forward, but like anything hydraulic that can suck air into system usually need to bleed.

Does it release close to floor or when pedal is almost all the way out ? & is there any extra noise coming from throw out bearing say when sitting still engine running, in nuetral foot off clutch ? (indication of worn throw out/pressure plate fingers getting worn losing tension)

Fuck San Diego, and California in general. Stay in Oregon.

Way too expensive with no real benefit behind it, oh and the economy is horrible, taxes are way too high and I honestly hate sunshine every day. But those are just my opinions. :)

I do like San Diego, but I would like it even more if I didn't live here and only came to visit every couple months to see my family, friends and the SoCal crew! :)

We just need to hit a couple big ass bumps to lose that plastic cowling in front once & for all & start tubing a front bumper or something, relocate those HID fogs into offroad driving lights er something....;)
