no, the 2:1 ratio. it's 66/33. Aka, you cant do (simple) math, so you have to be a business major. Or Arts.

lol Yes I realize that. I was just seeing if he was making stuff up I searched for the real data. ;) but hey, your not too far off--Poly Sci majors don't need much math. :D (And now you know what is wrong with our country...)

yeeep. Army ROTC- Looking at a 19 series MOS, armor/cav. It's fun stuff.

But i'm working on med waivers too. I got cateracts from too much full-contact sparring and ended up having 5 surgeries for it.

    Paperwork is TEH SUCK.

In my opinion, I wouldn't bother with an associates if you know you're going for a bachelor's degree. If you have the bachelors, no one cares if you have an associates especially if it's in the same field (e.g. associates in computer science and bachelor's in computer science). Save yourself some time and just minor in what your associates would have been. It'll carry more weight because it includes upper division classes and you'll get out of school earlier.

I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, minor in Mathematics, a Bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance (I had enough credits for two degrees rather than a double major) and an Associates in Mathematics.

yeah, the waivers are gong to be a looooooooong process.

my cousin is a TACP in the airforce, and he's had three reconstructions (2 in one knee, 1 in other) and has screws, so I know it's possible.

A lot of the waivers issues are based on timing. I started in PLC in the NFO track but it was just as Vietnam was winding down and got cut. Ended up in Army ROTC. I had knee surgery when I was 16 but the Army still needed officers and I passed my physical without any problem. About 8 years later I was an ROTC instructor at Lafayette College and was a platoon TAC officer at the Fort Bragg advanced camp that summer. One of my cadets had already graduated from college and only needed to complete camp to be commissioned. He was a 4 year scholarship recipient. He also had the same knee surgery I had had. The Army was downsizing at that point and when he went for his pre-commissioning physical he was rejected and sent home.

    So, timing is everything.

At this point, I have a BA in History, an MA in History, an MS in National Security Strategy (thanks to the Army and the National War College) and am now working on my dissertation for a PhD...at age 56.

I retired from the Army back in 2004 and am now the executive vp at a two year private college in northeast PA. I guess I can't stay away from college, either. :)

waivers have a ridiculously long wait time. I went to plc for the marines this summer and got dropped because i tore my tendon. i have now been cleared for full duty but my OSO said it will take 9 months to get me re-enrolled for this one waiver
