    We have gotten just about 6" of rain and gusty winds. Nothing reported over 65mph though. A guy's tree across the street is now horizontal. Other than leaves all over my neighborhood and the tree, it has been event free, thankfully. The coast where I work is expected to get the highest tidal surge it has had since the 30's though.

    Basement is slowly draining.... had 4" of water & the battery backup failed overnight when the power went out.
    I hooked up with one of my customers early this morning that is a professional water-proffer & got a killer new backup system. (cost $550)
    Soaking wet & covered in basement funk I had is 85% installed....




    .....and the power came back on.

    FML.
