Yeah Glassworks is know for not responding right away.

Kevin, A lot of time you have to wait a few weeks to get glass parts from companies most of the time. Fiberwerx took 3.5 weeks to get my Mini fenders to me. But they had a race last weekend.

Have you heard of Roadrunner fiberglass ?, by anychance. They are a CO. in San diego. My friend just got a set of fenders for his dakota for $230. Nice glass, good lines, good service. Company not really known too much , low prices.

So I have been wondering what's the rest of the LT guys other hobbies other then trucks and racing and the desert?

In my free time I paint on mini canvas if i'm bored. I'm also into bicycles (custom beach-cruisers and urban commuter bikes) I have been making custom Beer themed Bike Accessories for people and going to see if a local shop will carry my products :)

So what are you guys into?

There's no difference in the spindles themselves between a prerunner and 4wd. However the guts are slightly different. As you stated, the inner dust cap will have to be removed. You'll have to replace it with an axle/hub seal. Also the prerunner spindles have whats called a front wheel adjusting nut that will have to be removed. That fucker is on there solid though. It's staked and you'll need a SST to remove it. It's torqued to over 200 ft-lbs.

Are you talking first or second Gen? Can I get lift spindles for a prerunner and use on my 4x4?

Well I think both, I asked whether or not, I can use STOCK spindles from a 2WD onto a 4WD to keep as spares.

No you can't use lift spindles, but I'm sure you already know that

I was speaking specific to the second gen, but same rules apply to the first gen. 1st gens 4x4 has a bearing spacer in place of the prerunner locking nut.

And no, you cannot use prerunner lift spindles on a 4x4.
