It makes your truck look low to the ground. And none of us want a low rider! If you dont wheel, then keep it. But for off road use it just lowers your clearance and probably wont hold up to well.

Yup. I used a Rustoleum truck bed liner spray on my rear bumper. I had the chrome sandblasted off, then coated the hell out of it. It turned out really well, I definetly enjoy the look. Although the Rustoleum probably isn't as glossy as you would like. I'm sure there are other products. Personally I enjoy the contrast between the glossy BSP and the matte black. I also painted my emblems matte black. Sounds like I'm in the minority though as far as you keeping it. Good luck with your decision.

Sell it. My opinion, I don't like those types of bars. But it is your truck--your decision. Good luck.

Yup. I've used Rustoleum spray-on bedliner and it's a great texture (not too chunky). That will definately hold up off-road (if you do that). A good couple coats of black satin might be another option... still tough but it looks great!

If you like having a bullbar I say keep it, and paint the skid if you want. However, I voted "no"... Bullbars are not very good for off-road as they destroy your aproach angle. I think it looks fine though. So it depends what you're going for.

Keep it. The color of the skid plate makes a nice contrast with the stainless nerf bars you have, just enough silver to contrast the black truck. I think it looks great on there. I have a silver double cab and I will be doing the black nerfs and bull bar. JMHO:D

Bingo^^^^ an excuse to add some Hellas:) and that bullbar will look 200% better once the plate is blacked out.

There was an all chrome one on my truck when I bought it used. I always wanted one on my last truck so I was stoked, but it had a dent in it. So, I decided to buy a new one. When I got the old one off, I realized the bumper was all scuffed behind it from sand and stuff getting behind the bar. I had the bumper repainted and went with a satoshi and an OEM skid plate. Take a look at my pics. If you want lights, grab a front end light bar. To me, the bull bar stuck out far enough you could bump them on a light pole parking a the store, or someone can back into it. If that happens, it'll hit your bumper anyways, and the bull bar will be damaged. Seems like an expense for little return. Needless to say, the one I bought went back to Aries. Ultimately your choice though.

You should actually swap it out with a Chrome one. Chrome with black is viscous looking. I happen to be looking for a black one as I am getting ready to do BHLM, valance and black grille. Even swap??? I'm game.
