Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I think you just manually shift the t-case for that without pressing the 4wd button. I'm not 100% though. My 98 would shift into 4wd as soon as you shifted the t-case.

You can do the grey wire mod too- rear locker anytime mod

Weren't you at Rausch in July when we did it to my truck? If you have push button 4wd you just disconnect a wire between the transmission and the transfer case.

If you have the J shifter for 4wd you either can't do it or it's significantly complicated.

When you shift it into low it automatically puts it in 4wd regardless of whether the button is pressed. With the wire unplugged the t-case doesn't get that signal so it doesn't go into 4wd unless you push the button.

Mine is the j. I really want to do it to mine. I originally thought it was called the blue wire mod. I did the grey wire and love it!

I was at RC in April with all the fun rain that one night ;-) unfortunately I have not been back since, this summer has been crazy!

I think we were only predicted to be on the edge of the store. I'm glad the weather reports were correct for once. Sucks you got stuck in it though. Glad you came out of it ok.

We got a ton of rain and got hit with the back end of the wind which ended up being worse than the rain. Although... The rockaway river is crazy right now. Can't even see the waterfall... Just a river going over it... No sign of waterfall lol.

Was about to go outside my house to go on a mt. Bike ride... Had my hand on the door knob and BOOM! Tree came down on the corner of my garage. Missed it by the turn of the door knob. 10" diameter tree... I'd be dead. Crazy!

Here's a couple of picks. One through the door I was walking through and other through adjacent window.

    I soiled my pants
