Performance +++++

So far im thinking of putting in a cooling fan, deckplate mod, and maybe a scanguage (i dont know yet). Is their anything else i can do to increase mpgs, hps, and overall performance?

 

i have seen an improvement in milage from just exhaust(muffler and tip only) and deckplate. Only like 2...but still and increase.

other then that...Get a SC and URD kit...thats about it.

there's a bunch of things youre going to need with the SC.
Best thing to do is to start small, then work to it when you have teh monies.

 

SC kit will increase your performance drastically!

the only 1st gen supercharger on the market right now is the TRD one.

(BTW. so you can't afford exhaust/ headers but can afford a SC? )

 

I'd go K&N cold air intake and headers/exhaust WAY before I went to a super charger...

 

K&N cold air intake does nothing for these engines, the deckplate mod actually has some gains. There are dyno sheets that prove it.

Its not always true. Depends on the truck really. I didnt really notice anything when i did it. But after my exhaust with it i have seen about 2mpg gain.

 

Well im prob just gonna get deck plate, headers, exhaust, but will a cooling fan do anything or will it be a waste of money? My truck used to overheat alot, so i had to get a new radiator

 

So a fans a bad idea? I should just stick with the other stuff?
