I felt like the power band was extremely choppy, in smoothe acceleration. This really fixed that. And I feel like it tied the afe stage 2si and my long tube headers together. The power after 3.5k Rpms
Is impressive for having 35x13.5's and the 50-90 is really quick. Stock the acceleration slows down around 60 where Thats where my power kicks in

I had the Volant intake with the Ram air and URD calibrator. I eventually went back to stock and an AFE drop in. I didnt feel a loss in power between the transition.

I think it's the long tubes and the tweaked tune that gives me the top end

I'm hoping I get used to the AFE stage 2 i have. I might need to ride in your truck Patrick to see what the sound difference is between the stage 2 and Si.. I'm gonna eventually get the the URD MAF.. and can't wait to see what it does.

Also, seems like the disconnected battery helped and It reset my ECU. yay!

Once I pay off the loan for the 88 I'm gonna turn around and borrow more to boost this beyotch, and do the internal work on it. Should solve that problem. Even after driving mooses truck I still love my four banger.

Haha.. I didnt think you were coming back with it man. When you took that corner and I just hear ny tires squeal.. I thought.. "he's not coming back...." Lol I want you to get a v6, but at the same time, its not very realistic ya know. you can drive mine every once an awhile. Lol

Hmmm.. maybe they sound the same then Patrick. Is still like to get a comparison if I could. The loudness isnt whats bothering me, its the reverberation at WOT that gets annoying. sounds like the dash is rattling apart. Lol

Really? Lol. I had a airaid on my 06, it didn't delete the secondary tho, so im thinkin that's why it wasnt nearly as loud as this one. I just need to get used to it.

Next question: short tubes vs long tubes. im pretty sure im gonna go with shorties.. :D
