Needing new lights up front. ideas?

my PIAAs are cracked and nearly retired... im kinda over the walmart fog lights as well...

I like the 4 hella's, but what about say maybe two lightforces where those 4 are?

 

iv never seen the prices on those suckers. im about to check that out right meow

yea. iv seen them in person and they are a sharp looking light man. great looks for sure. im not sure if id be willing to drop the cash on those though.

the PIAA were a sort of gift. thats why i got em. but im bummed that they are cracked.

the reason why i like the hellas is because i dont have a ton of room behind the light bar where id mount the lights. the Hellas are super thin.

Well I vote for 2 Hella's (since you seem to have interest in the Hella's) instead of 4, evenly spaced of course, for the top half.

For the lower half I have a couple ideas. If you do not plan on putting a winch, you could put one 6"-10" "E" Series LED light bar from Rigid Industries.

OR you could get 2 Rigid Industries Dulley/D2 and put them where your current PIAA lights are.

Only Problem with RI is they are expensive, but incredible lights and you get what you pay for.

Well since a winch is in the future, you could get the cheaper D2's and still super bright.

I say two hellas converted to HID, I think that four might look weird stuffed in there. The light output might be blocked as well. Maybe three hellas? I've got two hellas mounted on my TG tube bumper and only two 700ffs would fit. It looks like we've got just about the same amount of room for lights in that area on our bumpers.

 

yea true... maybe 3 lights is the best route here.

 

Which hellas are you looking at? The 500s? The 700s? Three of the 500s would probably fit but I think the 700s would be pushing it if they fit at all.

 

Move the rectangle walmart specials down to where the piaa's are and get 2 Hellas for where the walmarts were...............

 

the 500 for sure. they 700 might be too thick.

 

i did think of that. and point the walmart ones down for more direct light on the ground in front of the truck....
