YOU WILL BE MISSED Satoshi Grill, FX-R retros, husky liners, bed bolt d-rings, TRD short throw shifter, 2.5 Fox Coil overs, AP UCA's, AP Expo rear leaf with Fox 2.0 shocks, Extended SS brake lines, AP kick-out sliders, 265/75/16 on Konig Countersteers, AllPro Apex front bumper and Zip Ties.
I bought these off ebay and relized that I purchased the wrong part number. I have a 4.0 powerplant and this part number fits the 2.7.

Three genuine Toyota filters with three drain plug gaskets.

    SOLD to me!

Thanks to 98tacoma27 for pointing out my ignorance!

    alright,

I have seen news that the oil filters are cross compatible but the information I am using is found in the "ultimate oil change thread" Posted below:

"The oil filter for the 2.7 second gen is: 90915-YZZG1 (the following part numbers are equivalent:
    90915-YZZG1, 08922-02011, 90915-YZZD1, 90915-YZZD1-DS)

Oil filter for the 4.0 second gen is: 90915-YZZD3"

If this will work for my 4.0 then I will use these but it looks like it wouldn't be the best choice as the "D3" has more filter media, therefore better protection levels.

D3 is just taller and for the V8. If you look on the box, it says "1G series motor", which is your V6 1GR-FE. Does your manual reference this oil filter (G1)?

I'm ashamed to admit that I have not checked the manual concerning this part number.
