    Hoping it doesn't get too bad in Delaware. We have a place near the Delaware beaches. I went down to get my boat pulled out of the water and put some stuff away and came back home yesterday afternoon. Took 6.5 hours to get home and it usually takes me about 3.

    Looks like the worst of Irene is over in RI, mostly leaves, some fallen trees and branches. Had one tree fall across the highway, would have stopped for a pic but there was a cop there. A lot of people without power.

    Really? I guess I am lucky. A few local friends havent had power and they live 2-3 min away. Our power went out a couple times but only for 5 min or so.

    what my tacoma and I got to do at a friends house on Sunday morning after Irene tore through Maryland.. hey maybe a show truck but it still does work :D we lost power around 4:30am and didnt get back on till 3:00pm on sunday

    Just past the telephone pole on the right is a stop sign. You couldn't really stop tho because it was like a river there as soon as you slowed you could feel the sliding effect. lol But the Tacoma had no problem.

    Thankfully there was no excitement at my house. Lost power for 20 hours and 1 tree fell over, but the power came back before any food spoiled and that tree was one that I was planning to take out anyway.

    Lots of leaves and branches in the yard but that's it. Dry basement and everything. I consider myself very lucky!

    I'm thrilled that it wasn't an intense as was predicted but feel bad for the inland areas that weren't the focus of the initial preparation. They're getting hit harder than the shore areas now that the rivers are flooding. :(
