    Tinted windows, toytec ultimate 3inch lift- front c/o rear aal, 18" black rockstar rims, 275/70/18 toyo opencountry mt's, BLUE dome light, 6000k H4 HID bixenon, kenwood kvt-514 headunit,black badges, satoshi grill :] sold it and now have a wrangler....
    so im considering lifting my stock 08 prerunner, sport. im wanting to get either 18 or 20 inch rockstars with the toyo opencountry m/t 33's whats the best way of lifting it any advice is great thank you!! :help:

    lots of posts about this, however just to help out a bit,

    spacer lift, or bilstein5100 shocks to get the lift

    those are the cheapest

    Will you be offroading it a lot? Not sure why one would want to lift a 2WD sport?

    toyteclifts.com (i think thats the right url) has some good/affordable suspension lifts that you should look into. THe OME Spring/shock and rear AAL is a good choice and the toytec coilovers I hear are good too. I would stay away from spacers and blocks though. Good luck bud

    I'd avoid spacer lifts as they ride like shit. The best thing to do in your case is to lift with Billy 5100s (the fronts are adjustable). In the rear you can get an AAL or blocks (AAL recommended...) :thumbsup:

    hmm... i off road with my base 5lug 2wd... not even sport.....

    thats when you know you have one hell of a driver at the wheel when they dont have 4x4:D:D

    Didn't mean it in a mean way so please don't take it that way. I used to have a lifted 2WD ram 1500 and took it off road. I then got stuck and had to have a small ford ranger pull me out with a lot of people watching. It was very embarrising to say the lease since the truck looked so badass.

    I'll never buy a 2wd truck again because of that experience. lol.

    Im getting ready to install Toytec's 3" lift kit(885's w/top plate spacer, TSB AAL, and TC UCA's). I keep reading about vibration issues after this type of lift. Is this mainly with the 4WD trucks or do the 2WD's suffer as well?
