So my brother in law has to move up to Tennessee because of work, and offered to sell his 07 base model double cab 2WD tacoma for 10k and trade my 98 nissan pathfinder 4x4 that has a little over 200k miles on it. His taco has about 90k miles on it give or take. Don't have pictures of the actual one but it's silver

Without all the details and knowing the mechanical condition of both vehicles, it sounds like a great deal to me. The Nissan, although they are good quality too, has a lot of miles - you might start spending a lot on it soon to keep it running. For $10K that Taco will last you a very long time - it looks good on the picture provided (other than being base)

If you're looking for a Toy truck to mod and have fun with then you can't go wrong. Leaving it stock as a daily commuter would be great too. In other words, you can't go wrong either way.

yeah it being a base model and not 4x4 is bugging me but my pathfinder might be on its last leg I've haven't had any major mechanical issues besides replacing the radiator and the battery cables haha.. his taco hasn't had anything wrong with it and takes it to toyota for all maintenance

Seeing you're in Texas, is 4x4 a necessity? If not, you've got yourself a new/used truck. I can see it now... larger tires & different rims. Put this pic in the Photoshop thread after you see the rims you like. Just a thought. Sounds like a good deal. KBB says 14K.

I'd make that trade in a second

    It'll fit 17s no prob with a 265/65/17 (stock 17" tire size) or a 265/70/17 ( next size up a 32"ish tire)
