    I honestly see no use for them, it's not like you can see whats underneath you while your driving, so what's the point of having lights under there? Your front lights should be able to let you see any "rocks" in front of you.

    I have. Never found it necessary to have lights under my truck. My head lights were enough for me to see any rocks in front of me.

    I think we we have different view points on "wheeling" then. Of course I see the rocks with my headlights, and then I drive over/through them, not around them.

    FWIW, the lights are not for the driver. They are for your spotter so he doesn't have to walk around your truck like a retarded penguin with a flashlight to find out the problem.

    jason hes 2wd so his wheeling is different. me personally could really use rock lights. like bad.

    edit ^^ he just said it, read too dam slow. but rock lights really help when out on the trail, and not only for the spotter, cause sometimes you need to kind of look out your window for tire placement

    In your case, I certainly agree. Rock lights would be mostly useless to you. Its a huge advantage when crawling at night. And absolutly correct, in case of a breakdown, you don't have to sit there with a flashlight in your mouth to make a quick fix. My nighttime coilover repair in the middle of a dune :eek: :
