help on evap system

    2002 toyota tocoma 4 door
    i have replaced the fuel cap replaced the vsv valve that was not working also replaced the three hundred dollar evap canester and still getting a P0440 check engine light this is on a 2002 tacoma four door 4x4 with a 3.4 v6 any body have any ideas

    Which VSV did you replace? There's 3.

    I'd suggest you pull each of the VSV's and bench test them.

    If you already replaced the cap and charcoal canister, it has to be either a bunk VSV or one of the lines is clogged or has a leak.
