    Hi there folks,

I have a 07 toyota tacoma trd sport pre runner.

It does have the factory tow hitch, and some form of plug next to the tow hitch. I'm wondering, is the plug the "4 flat wiring system"?

Do our trucks have this "4 flat wiring system"?

any info is greatly appreciated. thanks!

no they have a 7 round. you can get an adapter that will plug in to the 7 round and make it a 4 flat. dealer has them wal mart has them and any auto parts store should have them. they are around $15

not they do NOT have the 4 flat. they have 7 round. you can get an adapter at the dealer (or auto parts store/wall mart) that will plug in to the 7 round and make it a 4 flat.

Yes, that's the one, it should have a flap cover on it. Just go to an auto parts or RV place and get an adapter plug, they are cheap. Keep the adapter plug in the truck when you're not using it.
