For 05+ 4.88's with 37's is lower than 3.73's and stock tires. 4.56 with 35's would make your speedo close to accurate. There is nothing wrong with overgearing, but the numerically higher you go the weaker the ring gear is, and the more gas you'll waste.

what else do you need to gather to make it work? a couple weeks back you guys were commenting about the other red truck, i think adrian, and it seems like he did the shocks on the outside of the frame like a second gen to save bed space right? so new bed cage im assuming?

need a non e-locker 3rd member and some ABS brakes for the axle. going to re-gear the 3rd to 4:56 and maybe a detroit locker if the bank account can handle it

i will re-do the cage and run the shock outside the rails, but not right away...

gonna pick up some new bedsides, fenders, and hood, along w/ seats and hopefully some front bypasses

need a rear bumper and tire carrier too...FML haha

dude, have you ever been to the mall? shit gets rough... def need a locker. i have a locker right now... i know i'll miss it if i dont have one still

not gonna go w/ 35's... i'm going to swap in longer coils on my CO's and lower the front end a bit and lose some preload. keep the truck low and wide. better IMO

lol alright, they are expensive as hell! my LSD is burned out so i was looking at them and theres no way i can afford a locker, im just going to leave it for now and keep saving for SUA
yeah it is better, that reminds me i need to lower my coilovers, i got too much lean, the TT bedsides dont even compensate enough for it:rolleyes: i dont have the wrench but i can loosen the allen bolt and just use a screwdriver and hammer to crank them down right?

Not the best solution in the world, but works. I've used a large philips screwdriver that fit into the holes perfectly and it worked out. Also used a titanium drill bit with a pipe on the end of it. :anonymous:
