Ok, off my soap box and back on subject...
There a couple companies I am sticking with for parts. Customer service is huge with me (as you can tell from above). I am willing to pay a bit more just for good customer service. So it all depends on what the compaies say for quotes on which direction I go...

So c'mon guys, give me more reasons to go with suspension or locker. LoL I am actually enjoying the debate and hearing everyones opinions.

Haha.. this is true. the girls werent holding anything back. She's usually the one that calls people out and stirs the shit. I'm the laid back easy going one. Anyways..

I think you'd be more happy wih the lift man. looks, performance, keeps you from tearing your fenders off. Then if you still need or want the locker, get It.. atleast this way you'll know if it was the lift or not holding you back. process of elimination really..

I do like this way of thinking... Basically the lift opens up more options for future modifacations that I want to complete.

That too. Larger more aggressive tires. armor. Oh and if you get the rear armor with the swing out tire carrier, you can put your air tank/compressor under the bed in that spot.

On the contrary, I like to be informative... if I think it adds something, I post some information (on the still little known traction systems). It is the others who look for me to post... actually get impatient if I don't, in order to post their crap that only distracts from the thread to get their jollies off.

If you want an A-TRAC question to not drag on, then don't reply to ME... just add something constructive to the OP's questions or move on. Ignore me, please... all you A-TRAC Player Haters.. LOL!

To the OP: I had an '05, like you... I also did not know the '10 had A-TRAC and I only vaguely heard about A-TRAC from FJ Cruiser people. The salesman didn't tell me about it until after I got the truck when he was explaining how it was different than my '05.

It wasn't until I got hung up in some deep ruts when I first took it into some L4 off roading, that I was blown away by how it worked just like having front and rear lockers. Enough great things cannot be said about A-TRAC.

OK guys, so I have made a decision....

I am going with the suspension. I am getting a really great deal on the suspension plus I will get more satisfaction out of the suspension. It will fix my rubbing issues (along with my cab mount chop and some reworking of the inner fenders) and will look good. I can make due without the locker for the time but its in the works for the near future.

Plus with the suspension it will allow me to start getting my armored bumpers and winch.
Here is everything I am ordering and I should have it in a week or so and then its a matter of finding the time to do all the work and a place to do it all. I will have to do some of it in my hotel parking lot if I cant find a place...

    Rear leaf spring Kit
(Includes expidition leaf spring, U-bolt flip kit, bushings, rear brake line)
    Fox read adj res shocks
    Timbren bump stops

    Fox 2.5" adj res coil-oils
    1.25" UCA's
    timbren bump stops
    fron brake line

And I will remove my sway bar. That should give my truck a nice stance.

Are you bumping up the spring rate on the front for the front bumper now or are you doing that when you get the bumper?

Yea, its a spring rate made for an armored bumper. It will be a bit still in the front/back until I get some armor on there but I dont mind.
