i have an 08 white taco.i just picked up a second pair of healights(in case i fuk up).i thought i wanted white lights and going to paint my gay chrome grill white also.i remember seeing a white taco with black lights and all black grill.
what do you guys think?? does anyone have the pic of the white taco with black grille and lights?
has anyone gone through inspection with the modded headlights and failed?black or white?

As long as you leave some chrome reflector for the headlight dish and you don't tint the glass, you shouldn't have a problem with inspections. They're primarily concerned with headlight output. The rest of the chrome in the housing is for looks so it shouldn't effect that.

I like White Tacomas with black accents. I've seen whlm on a truck and didn't like it as much as the black. The whlm shows the lines in the chrome more than the bhlm does. Put up some pictures of your grill so we can see what kind it is. They can also be photoshopped so you can see what you like more.

if it were me i would do the grille white like the sports and do the bhlm. i've seen trucks like that and it looks sweet. just my two cents. :)

Just kinda cause I don't have em yet. I'm wondering how close I can get the silver to match my paint in a rattle can.

Yeah that's true. Just go have it color matched some place. I actually got really lucky because I had some white paint in a spray can and it matched right up with my truck!!! Don't ask me how, just luck I guess! :D
