Luv the old hilux's but the 3.0s are not a fun motor to work with. If you get it make sure to plain the block, heads and use updated head gaskets like Felpro.

    It looks like a 94 to me, 92-95ish ...

But $600 ... yea I'd go for it. Polish it up and make a profit.

I'd definitely check it out. Show up with $475-500.

Keep an extra $50 in your back pocket just in case.

This is not a '96, and not a Tacoma.... if they are advertising it as a '96, I'd be suspicious. And I would never buy a Toyota with the 3.0L V6, but that's just me.

I second that the 3.0's can be a pain to mess with. I have had two and both had the same problems

a friend of mine had a toy pickup with the 3.0, rolled from 200-300k miles no problems at all , maybe he got lucky , not close to as good as a 22r though, sounds decent to me at 600, i'd say listen to lex

Honestly, for 600 Bucks I don't really see how you could go wrong. I think it is all in the way you drive it and mine had problems before I ever bought them and I knew that up front. I guess I should have said that
