My new (to me) 02 Tacoma xcab TDR sr5 has a 6inch lift I bout it with. It has blocks and shackles in the rear and spacer (on top of the coilover) and semi-homemade front control arms.
It appears the rear is descent, but the front probably needs redone correct. However it is set up? It is causing the steering coming down on the drivers side to rub against the frame and appears to be bent. This is on the top of the fix up list.
The control arms look like they have been cut and a extension welded between? Looks more garage made than a bracket kit. How much would a new control arm system cost? The swaybar is also lowered the same way with extensions welded between. What's the best way to fix up the front end?
    Any suggestions will help!

so after looking around and talking to a few people it seems that i have a discontinued lift from truck outfitters. the top control arm was replaced with a bracket on top of the coil over and instead of the spindle going to the upper ball joint there is some sort of shock. so pretty much no upper control arm and an un needed extra shock thing..
I've been told i need to get rid of that shit and get a new upper control arm and ball joint. Now the QUESTION. with a 6inch lift do i need to get a new spindle designed for a 6inch lift?
