    Hippies would swim out and block it from docking, because certain environmental studies weren't completed before the superferry opened for business....They blew up the need for permits so much that the company that owned the superferry went bankrupt, and the ferries went away...

    Which meant hundreds lost their jobs, and Hawaii lost a 21st century convenience :(
