With Toytec, do you get "instructions" with it or is it trial and error? Im planning on doing it myself in the near future... (my dad still has my truck)

and when my dad finally hands it over to me in April, my build and build thread will be DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool::D

Instructions on how to install it? If so, I would think yes.

OK cool, because I'm not going to pay someone to do it for me when i have confidence in myself to do it.....plus you get to bond with your truck and appreciate it more! :D

I assume you're getting a spacer lift up front? The use of spring compressors may be lethal if you've never used them before. You'll need them to put the spacer in between the coil spring and the top plate.

    getting there....
just remember to take your time while doing the install, and get an alignment afterwards....you'll be good to go. and humanoid is very correct...........if you have never used spring compressors............get someone to install new shocks into whatever coils you are gonna use(unless you are getting a toytec coilover kit with all that already done) professionally......................them spring compressors you can rent are dangerous as hell.

Ummmmm, so what exactly are you using to lift the front then? I know that you'll be using new equipment, but what? Details please.

That's a great kit from what I've heard. I just went the cheaper route with 885's and 5100's. Don't know why when I spent all this other money on my truck! Still love the ride it gives though! ;)

Yes you get instructions. I got them with all of my ToyTec parts. And if you run into problems during the install, keep a digital camera and computer handy and post the pics. That's what I did when I installed mine (with no prior experience) and it ain't broke yet... :) Everyone here is very helpful!

And +1 on what Will said. Take your time and do it right. It took me about 8 hours to do the front but I replaced the UCAs at the same time. So, plan on a good chunk of time for the install.

    Good luck!!
